Teaching Gardens – Otley

Otley . . . New for 2017

This garden covers an area of 300 m2 of semi derelict ground that we are certain we can return to a healthy productive site.  At present we are testing various areas to ascertain the soil characteristics and spot problem areas.  Several clumps of garden flowers have sprung up and we have replanted them together to give a pretty show.  We are considering how best to plan the site, to date, we are agreed on a fruiting hedge along the margin of the plot facing the valley.  More brains to help plan are always welcome.

This is an exciting project for those wishing to see and help develop a productive garden from scratch.
